Welcome to Treadway Acres Flower Farm
A Day at the Farm
The Family
We are a family owned and operated farm. With littles that like the chickens and playing in the dirt, we have two adult sons, Tucker and Cody who you may see planting, cutting and delivering our subscriptions. Adam and Carla hope you find yourself in a mesmerizing, happy place, surrounded by our blooms, butterflies, our trickling creek, and around all the happiness you need to escape from the speed of life.
Beyond our immediate family, our parents, aunts, uncles, others have found this adventure something they are supporting us with. Below is Steve Niese, Carla's dad, who is an amazing builder, making the roadside stand.

Completing her doctorate in Education, researching small businesses and the impact of higher education, and having a small business, she implements all aspects of the business into each part of her professional life.
As a member of the ASCFG and soon-to-be Master Gardener, Carla works really hard to stay on top of providing the best products and be involved with the learning and teaching of the Cut Flower business.

Seed Starting
We take pride in giving you our best. We are starting most seeds on our property. Some plugs will come from nurseries, but we will take pride in starting heirloom, organic seeds as much as possible. From making our own greenhouse from re-purposed windows, to daily watering and care for our our newly germinated plant babies until they can be planted in the ground. Having the care from December of the year before, into the growing season, we take the time to grow the crops that will turn into your beautiful blooms to enjoy!
